I'm happy to see you here! I’m always excited to connect, collaborate, and bring ideas to life.
I'm a Software Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, and hands-on experience in various applications, from game development to web design to basic problem solving apps. Let’s see what we can create together.

Side Hobbies
I like to:
Create things (be digital, wood, paper, paint, or anything at all), I love the freedom of just creating something.
Play Dota2, Warframe, Marvel Rivals, Repo, STRAFTAT, Peak, Chess, ping-pong, badminton, soccer, mind games, etc.
Be outside in the nature running, swimming, playing, and socializing.

Personal Background
I'm from Cuba. I came to the US with 13 years of age, thus my first language is Spanish. I have always had an interest in game development. I have always played with passion when I have been able to and always have been a creative person. When I was a kid, my dad, who is a software engineer, would often tell me stories on how it's possible to create games with just some lines of code and ever since then I have wanted to create my own games.
As I grew up, I focused mainly in Software Development and all the parts that take into it's architectural complexity. I love how competitive and challenging programming can be and it feels very rewarding when something finally works or when I learn new tricks that ease up the development or debugging time. It feels even more rewarding when I'm able to create a program I needed tailored to my specific needs without the need to pay extra to other people. However, I still go back to game development and Art whenever I have a chance.

Software Applications
2021 - present
During my most recent time, I pursued a bachelor's degree in computer science at the University of Central Florida. This program has shaped me into a well-rounded developer through a strong mix of theoretical foundations and hands-on technical experience. Over the course of this degree, I’ve gained skills in software development, data structures, algorithms, systems programming, AI, and VR development.
I’ve applied this knowledge across a variety of courses and projects, both solo and team-based. These include building VR simulations, games, compilers, and middleware systems, as well as working with hardware and 3D modeling. I've worked with programming languages like Java, Python, C, and C#, and used tools such as Unity, Blender, GitHub, and Jira. I’ve also gained experience integrating APIs, managing version control, and using cloud-based platforms like Google Colab.
Games
2018 - present
Throughout my academic and personal journey, I’ve stayed interested in game development and found ways to grow my skills both in school and on my own. I’ve worked with Unity, Unreal Engine, and Blender, creating projects in 2D, 3D, and VR.
I’ve tried out many parts of game creation, including player control scripts, complex dynamic pipeline integration, animations, UI design, and working with both URP and HDRP pipelines. I’ve also made and animated 3D models in Blender, then imported and used them inside game engines. I’ve learned how to handle different file formats, test runtime asset loading, and build interactive experiences from the ground up.
Each project has helped me understand more about how games work and how to bring ideas to life.

Web Design
2018 - 2021
Before I dug deeper into programming, I had started my professional journey with a foundation in Web Development. My high-school offered a technical degree program in Web Design where I learned about logos, mockups, web structure, picture editing, and principles of design. This course extended over the period of 3 years, 2 hours long class every day. I worked hard and got 4 certifications which include:
-
Visual Design Using Adobe Photoshop
-
Graphic Design & Illustration using Adobe Illustrator CC 2015
-
Web Authoring Using Adobe Dreamweaver CC
-
Introduction to Programming Using HTML and CSS
I then worked over a summer as a Web Developer at a startup company. There I made use of my mockup and CSS development skills, WordPress and Adobe XD.

Art
2019-2020
On my free time I experimented with acrylics, oils, pyrography, glass & digital art.
In my second year of high-school, I took an AP Art Class. This allowed me to put time into my artistic side, both in class and outside of class. I decided that I liked art but it was too time consuming for me.
