Get to Know Me
Full-Stack Software Developer | Game Dev | UI/UX | ML | 3D modeler
My name is Ana L. La Rosa Perez, Ana for short.
Personal Background
I'm from Cuba. I came to the US with 13 years of age, thus my first language is Spanish. I have always had an interest in game development, yet I haven't had the chance to play as many games as I wish. I have always played with passion when I have and always have been a creative person. When I was a kid, my dad, who is a software engineer, would often tell me stories on how it's possible to create games with just some lines of code and ever since then I have wanted to create my own games.
As I grew up, I focused mainly in Software Development and all the parts that take into it's architectural complexity. I love how competitive and challenging programming can be and it feels very rewarding when something finally works or when I learn new tricks that ease up the development or debugging time. It feels even more rewarding when I'm able to create a program I needed tailored to my specific needs without the need to pay extra to other people. However, I still go back to game development and Art whenever I have a chance.

Side Hobbies
I like to:
-
Create things (be wood, digital, paper, paint, or anything at all), I love the freedom of just creating something.
-
Be outside in the nature running, swimming, playing, and socializing.
-
Play Dota2, Marvel Rivals, Repo, Chess, ping-pong, badminton, soccer, mind games, etc.
It's important to remark that I'm pretty bad at some of these hobbies but I will never give up liking them, they expand my creativity in ways that seem unthinkable.
Fav Game: Snail Mail.
